Since 1999 Urban Kitchens has been designing and constructing kitchens and bathrooms in the OKC area. Over the past 10 years we have also added whole house remodels to our resume. Sometimes we add redoing the Great Room that is attached to the kitchen, other times we provide additional flooring and painting services. Currently we are involved in several historic house makeovers which include the entire house.

Whole house remodels rely on having the very best contractors for every aspect of the project. In addition the subcontractors we have for carpentry, countertops, tile, wood floors, electrical and plumbing, we also have an excellent structural contractor. By working with an engineer and a structural contractor, we are able to provide all interior and exterior services required for large projects.

Special Experience

Jo Meacham, the owner of Urban Kitchens, has a masters in Architecture and over 40 years of experience with remodeling historic homes. Historic homes often offer challenges that require specific experience. When Urban Kitchens renovates historic homes we work closely with the owner to retain the historic character of the home while updating to todays standards. We have access to subcontractors that are experienced and enjoy working on historic homes.
